Mission A2J (Athletes Assisting Japan) was founded by a group of athletes led by former ATP tennis professional, Tom Shimada. While growing up in the US but representing Japan throughout his career, Tom felt the need to do something to help the people of Japan through this terrible tragedy. Even though Tom and his family live thousands of miles away from the affected area, the global support of Mission A2J has been tremendous. It is Mission A2J’s hope that the message of “helping TODAY and TOMORROW” will resonate with people all over the world whether you are an elite athlete, weekend warrior, or someone who enjoys a peaceful walk in the park. Thank you for your ongoing support, and may your thoughts and prayers be with the people of Japan.
